For all the young scientists, science enthusiasts, science lovers, teachers, philosophers, wanderers, students, and all Earthlings out there—this is CalTech’s 2008 commencement address, given by none other than the charming and witty RadioLab’s personnel, Robert Krulwich.
Recently, as you all may know, I’ve been RAVING about RadioLab (It really is a great podcast, have a listen!). And I just wanted to share this special episode with you all.
I listened to this one day in my car on my way to work. Needless to say, I literally broke down into tears—this is not an exaggeration. I think anyone who is pursuing the sciences would understand what I mean. So, please, have a listen. You will hear your own laughter through the sobs, and feel your heart racing through the speechlessness.
And more importantly, you will feel more inspired than ever— to not only search for answers, but to pass on the tales of discovery and learning through the intricate and interwoven power of language, storytelling, and curiosity.
